These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the BuyWise mobile application and related websites (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

No professional advice

BuyWise provides informational checklists and decision guidance only and does not constitute financial, legal, professional, investment, medical, or purchasing advice. You are solely responsible for your decisions and purchases. Always seek qualified professional advice when appropriate.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Harass, abuse, or harm others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Scrape, reverse engineer, or misuse the Service except as allowed by law
• Upload malware, spam, or content that infringes others' rights

User-generated content

You may create checklists and other content within the Service. You retain ownership of content you create, but you grant BuyWise a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate and improve the Service.

You are responsible for the content you submit and represent that you have the rights necessary to share it. We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, branding, software, and curated materials (excluding your user-generated content), is owned by BuyWise or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our materials without prior written permission, except as expressly allowed by these Terms.

Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

Account termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by contacting us.

Purchases and subscriptions

Paid features, if any, are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Additional terms from those platforms may apply. See our Refund Policy for details on refunds.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BuyWise and its affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service or reliance on any checklist or guidance provided.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
