Delete Account

You can request that your BuyWise account and associated data be permanently deleted. This page explains how to submit a request and what happens afterward.

How to request account deletion

1. Email us at admin@thebuywise.online from the email address linked to your BuyWise account, or use the button below.
2. Include the subject line BuyWise Account Deletion Request and the email or username associated with your account.
3. We will verify ownership of the account and process your request.

What data is deleted

When your deletion request is completed, we delete:

• Your account profile and authentication information
• Checklists you created and saved within the app
• Bookmarks, preferences, and in-app settings tied to your account
• Other personal data associated with your account in our systems

What data may be retained

Certain information may be retained for a limited period when required for legitimate purposes, such as:

• Records needed to comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations
• Information retained to prevent fraud or abuse, where permitted by law
• Aggregated or anonymized data that no longer identifies you
• Purchase or subscription records held by Apple or Google (you may need to manage those separately through the App Store or Google Play)

Timeline

After we verify your request, we aim to delete eligible account data within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email when the process is complete, when possible.

In-app deletion

If account deletion is also available inside the BuyWise app, you may use that option as an alternative. Web and in-app requests follow the same data deletion practices described on this page.
